§ 31.14. TERM OF OFFICE.

The term of the five persons to be appointed by the Town Council shall be three years except that the term on two of the members appointed to the first Tree Commission shall be two years and the remaining member shall have a term of three years. In the event that a vacancy shall occur during the term on any member, his or her successor shall be appointed for the unexpired portion of the term.
